What Is a Chemical Peel?

The result is improved tone, texture, clarity, and overall skin quality. At Aria Sonata Aesthetics, all peels are medical-grade and customized to your skin type, concerns, and goals.

Treatment Options
We offer a range of medical-grade chemical peel treatments tailored to your skin type and concerns. The selected formula and treatment intensity depend on your skin's condition, goals, and tolerance. Your treatment will be selected based on a thorough skin assessment during your consultation.
What to Expect
Most chemical peel treatments take 30 to 45 minutes. During the treatment, you may experience a mild tingling or warming sensation, which is normal and temporary. Peeling, sensitivity, and recovery depend on the specific formula, treatment depth, and your skin's response. Visible flaking does not necessarily represent the full healing period. Your provider will explain the expected recovery and aftercare for your selected treatment before proceeding.
How Often Should I Get a Chemical Peel?
For most skin goals, a series of lighter peels spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart produces the most consistent improvement. Maintenance peels every 6 to 8 weeks can help sustain results long-term. Chemical peels can be scheduled separately from Microneedling and Custom Facials as part of a comprehensive skin health plan, with adequate recovery time between treatments.
Your clinical treatment interval is individualized based on the selected peel and your skin's response. Membership scheduling is separate: chemical peels scheduled through a membership are limited to one every three months, within that membership's stated annual treatment allowance.
