What to Expect

Each session takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on the treatment area. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand for comfort. Most clients experience mild redness and sensitivity for 24 to 48 hours following treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. There is no significant downtime, and most clients return to their normal routine within a day or two.

How Many Sessions Do I Need?

Most clients see optimal results with 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Skin quality improvements build progressively with each session, and many clients choose to continue with maintenance treatments 2 to 4 times per year after completing their initial series.

Is microneedling painful?
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to ensure your comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or warmth rather than pain.

When will I see results?
Some improvement in skin texture and radiance is often visible after the first session. More significant results in tone, firmness, and scar reduction typically develop over 4 to 6 weeks as collagen remodeling occurs, with continued improvement after each subsequent session.

Is there downtime?

What are the benefits of adding PRP?
PRP contains platelets and growth factors from your own blood. Evidence for additional benefits when combined with microneedling is variable. Your clinical provider will discuss potential benefits, limitations, risks, and alternatives. Microneedling devices are not FDA-authorized to deliver PRP into the skin.
