What Is Xeomin?
Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a botulinum toxin type A prescription medication that temporarily reduces targeted muscle activity responsible for certain expression lines.
Xeomin is manufactured using a purification process that removes complexing proteins from the botulinum neurotoxin preparation. The finished product contains incobotulinumtoxinA as the active ingredient, with human albumin and sucrose as inactive ingredients.
What Can Xeomin Treat?
Xeomin is FDA-approved in adults for temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate-to-severe:
- Glabellar lines (frown lines or "11s")
- Horizontal forehead lines
- Lateral canthal lines (crow's feet)
Treatment is individualized according to anatomy, muscle activity, expression patterns and aesthetic goals.
Why Xeomin at Aria Sonata?

Xeomin and Dysport® are both FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A products used in aesthetic medicine, but they are different formulations and their potency units are not interchangeable.
Rather than assuming one is universally better, treatment selection should consider anatomy, treatment area, movement patterns, previous treatment experience and individual goals.
What to Expect
Xeomin treatment involves a series of small injections placed according to an individualized treatment plan. Appointments are generally brief, and most clients return to usual activities afterward.
